How can Crushendo help you?
Crushendo makes innovative audio cramming tools called CrammerTones and children’s educational tools called ToddlerTones.
CrammerTones are audio flashcards. On steroids. Healthy, legal steroids. They leverage memorization tools, brain-enhancing techniques, and performance psychology principles. Crushendo hopes to create CrammerTones for all feasible standardized, memorization-intensive exams. The first CrammerTones course was created for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) or ethics portion of the attorney licensing process. It’s currently available for download. Crushendo hopes to release CrammerTones for the Uniform Bar Exam subject areas in time for the July 2018 administration. After tackling other standardized and licensure exams (think GRE, MCAT, SAT, ACT, high school AP and IB courses, real estate licensing, drone licensing, etc.), Crushendo hopes to create CrammerTones for common college and high school courses.
ToddlerTones are similar, but less complex. ToddlerTones are geared towards young children preparing for school. They’re narrated by cute kids. Like CrammerTones, they leverage classical music to enhance learning. Parents can play ToddlerTones in the background while their children play. They’re a stress-free and effective way for kids to learn without staring at a screen. A few sample ToddlerTones are available for download, and several albums will be available for pre-order soon.
Crushendo also hopes to deliver learning songs: CrammerTunes, ToddlerTunes, and TeacherTunes. TeacherTunes are helpful songs for elementary school teachers and parents who home-school. The first TeacherTunes will be available for pre-order in the next couple of months.
Finally, Crushendo recently launched its first whiteboard video. Crushendo intends to produce a series of videos, like this one, to help students step up their studying.
Crushendo was founded by Adam Balinski. Since he can remember, Adam has had a passion for learning, teaching, and innovating. Though he’s relatively young, his experiences have been vast and varied. They include teaching university-level Swedish for six semesters, hosting a nationally broadcast TV show, working as a TV reporter for a CBS affiliate, delivering corporate training for a medical software behemoth, and serving as Editor-in-Chief of a highly ranked education and law journal.
During law school, Adam developed the sloppy embryo of what CrammerTones have now become. Rather than going crazy, staring anxiously at his notes during the final days and hours leading up to his exams, Adam was cleaning his apartment, washing his car, and exercising, all while listening to his audio recordings. As a result, those final days and hours became among the most enjoyable parts of his legal education. Not only was it the healthy thing to do, it was highly effective: Adam graduated summa cum laude from one of the nation’s most competitive law schools and scored in the top 5% nationally on the Uniform Bar Exam.
